Kent and Medway has 800 schools and the highest number of grammar schools in England and Wales, with a wide choice of specialist schools, as well as independent and international schools.
Kent is home to four universities: The University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, University of Greenwich and University College for the Creative Arts plus a large number of colleges of further and higher education. These universities have a student population of 32,000 and contribute more than 11,000 graduates to the workforce each year. Over 380,000 students are also accessible from London and neighbouring counties.
